Our Founder & Ceo
Building a Legacy in Sonoma County
Phil Wright Jr., President, was born and raised in Sonoma County. Phil attended Cardinal Newman High School, followed by Santa Rosa Junior College where he received a scholarship to study and play football at Long Beach State. After college, in the late 80’s Phil returned home to Santa Rosa where he began his career in the construction industry. In 1995, Phil founded Wright Builders CA which has been a staple in the construction industry of Sonoma County for almost 35 years. With his deep connection to Sonoma County and his unwavering dedication, Phil continues to shape the skyline of his beloved hometown. Phil believes serving his clients is not just about constructing remarkable buildings but also about fostering lasting relationships with clients and the community. Outside of work and family commitments, Phil enjoys riding his Harley Davidson along the picturesque backroads of Sonoma County.

Phil's construction expertise spans a wide range of projects. From single-family homes to multi-family subdivisions, mixed-use developments to commercial projects and tenant improvements, he has demonstrated his versatility and adaptability in the industry. With a hands-on approach, Phil personally oversees each project, ensuring attention to detail and delivering quality service to his clients. He relies on experienced and dependable job superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers, working together seamlessly to exceed clients’ expectations.
